Join the Institute For Orthopedics & Chiropractic, PLLC as a Patient Account Coordinator/Biller, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth billing processes and excellent patient experiences. This position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient accounts, including billing, collections, and payment processing.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients prior to appointments.
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies accurately and timely.
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of patient accounts and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.
- Assist in the development of billing procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance.
- Seeks out and collaborates with Business Office Manager and IOC staff to implement workflow, procedure and policy improvements to enhance the patient experience and smooth operations.
- Cover Front Desk when necessary
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing.
- Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong understanding of insurance policies and coding regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.

Eden Prairie, MN * Some travel to St Paul location on occasion may be needed.
Compensation: $17.85 - $24.15 per hour
